ABOUT THE STUDIO
Our Berkeley Studio is located on historic Fourth Street, which has been a local design destination for the East Bay since the ‘80s. The Studio space features exposed wood-beam ceilings and reclaimed ship-planking wood floors and is home to one of DWR's largest selections of designer furniture and accessories in the San Francisco Bay Area. Studio Proprietor and DWR veteran Lisa Russell oversees the Studio along with her friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Eames Demetrios Pays a Visit

Enjoy a presentation from Eames Demetrios.
After Ray’s death, the Eames family shared and cared for the Eames House and grounds, always mindful to safeguard their authenticity for the future. The Eames Foundation now strives to maintain the house as it existed when Charles and Ray lived and worked in it for the latter and most prolific half of their lives. Enjoy a presentation from grandson Eames Demetrios on the 250 Year Project to conserve the house and on Ray’s recent centennial. Light refreshments will be served.
