A flagship Studio, DWR SoHo is located on the ground floor of the SoHo Building and features large storefront windows, high ceilings and an open floor plan that serves as an ideal showcase for furniture, lighting and other modern classics. Built in 1906 as a department store warehouse, the building features a subway map embedded in the sidewalk outside the Studio's front door. In 1986, the Belgian artist and architect Francoise Schein created "Subway Map Floating on a New York Sidewalk." The flagship also features fixtures and other wall graphics that haven't been used in any existing DWR Studio. Studio Proprietor Hunter De La Cruz manages the Studio with his friendly and knowledgeable staff.
