The Go Collection (2005) was created after “an absolutely informal study taken by us lollygaggers,” say designers Greg Benson and Jeff Taly, the founders of Loll Designs. “We learned that people frequently sit with other people when outside. Perhaps this is because there’s no TV, or maybe our gregarious tendencies are amplified outdoors?” The Go Collection is a modern take on classic club chairs and love seats found indoors. Its seats are similar in height to those of dining chairs, and its backs have a less dramatic angle than those of typical outdoor lounge chairs for a more upright sitting position. These pieces are made of recycled plastic reclaimed from post-consumer goods like milk jugs, which can be recycled again if necessary. Since Loll was founded in 2006, its use of recycled materials has kept millions of milk jugs out of landfills. The fade-resistant, waterproof, maintenance-free Adirondack Collection is made to last for years. Each piece ships flat to save on packing materials; simple assembly required (Allen wrench included). Made in U.S.A.
100% recycled post-consumer or post-commercial (depending on color) high-density polyethylene; high-grade stainless steel fasteners; nylon cord.
"We make outdoor furniture for the modern lollygagger," explains Loll Designs visionary and founder Greg Benson. "Our furniture is for people who are looking for fresh design made in the U.S.A. using environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing practices. These people take everything they do seriously, whether it's work or working out, but they also genuinely appreciate their outdoor relaxation." The company strives to improve the relationship between furniture and the environments in which users enjoy it. Read more >
