Carrie Crawford

Design Within Reach presents works by Carrie Crawford in collaboration with NYC gallery Uprise Art. Crawford is a painter and textile artist who works with indigo and other natural dyes. Her organic shapes result from a series of dips into wild-crafted and handmade dyes kept in various vats. Inspired in part by raw landscape and felt experience, her work attempts to link land and body through earthen materials. She resides in Petaluma, California, with her family.
