Kayla Plosz Antiel

Canada (1987)
Design Within Reach presents works by Kayla Plosz Antiel in collaboration with NYC gallery Uprise Art. Antiel approaches her work as an exploration of color, focusing on subtle shifts within monochromatic, analogous, and complementary schemes. Having built an extensive visual vocabulary, her imagery is oftentimes a contrast of organic and geometric shapes. She has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the U.S., including Burnet Gallery, Hillyer Art Space, and the Soo Visual Arts Center, as well as featured in many online publications and art blogs such as Art Hound, YoungSpace, and Metal Magazine. She received her MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2012.
