Light + Ladder’s founder, Farrah Sit, approaches design through the lens of “own less, own well.” Her works are decorative – but not purely so. They toe the line between art and function with a minimalist aesthetic. Her Eleva Planter was inspired by Constantin Brancusi, a 20th-century Roman sculptor known for his use of abstracted forms. Crafted of ceramic with a matte finish, Eleva is anchored by a concrete pedestal base. It’s produced in a zero-waste facility in Vermont.
