Details
A comfortable seat should welcome you like an old friend – with open arms. The Kin Collection was designed with this generosity in mind. The Kin Stool features a seat upholstered in buttery Raise full-grain semi aniline leather from Italy while its curved form is molded to fit the organic curves of the body. The leather is finished with beautifully stitched exposed seams, which illustrate its craftsmanship and reference the classic sling chair, designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm’s original inspiration.

Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm
For Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, inspiration comes from observation. “If I want to design objects for real people, I have to know about them,” she explains. Born in Glostrup, Denmark, to a Swedish mother and Danish father, Halstrøm is also naturally influenced by her Nordic roots and combines this background with an interest in the spiritual austerity of Japanese design.
