Her minimalist, human-centered work resides in the permanent collections of MoMA and Design Museum Danmark. Made in Poland.
  • Distinctive cocooning form offers a supportive, sculptural seat.

Cecilie Manz

Cecilie Manz works within furniture, glass, lighting, and ceramics, producing pieces that are understated in design but thoroughly researched in approach. “Function is essential and if I cannot formulate a good reason for a new product to exist, it is better to refrain from making it,” says Copenhagen-based Manz. The upshot: Work that’s quietly intuitive and designed to last for generations.
