Originally introduced in the 1950s through a collaboration between Louis Poulsen and the Danish Navy Buildings Department, the Doo-Wop Pendant served various naval facilities – from canteens to offices – before being retired in the early 1980s. Growing demand from collectors prompted its return, staying true to the original while updating colors for modern appeal. Each shade is still hand-spun using traditional methods and finished with a fine rolled edge that creates distinctive optical volume. Whether clustered dramatically or positioned individually, this sophisticated pendant transforms spaces with its distinctive silhouette and focused downward illumination.
