Details

Hugely dramatic, light as a feather and distinctly Dutch, NR2 (2015) is made by coiling a strand of epoxy-dipped fiberglass around a large balloon, then popping it once dried, leaving behind a very delicate globe-shaped diffuser. This pendant is suitable for entryways, lounge areas and dining rooms, with a light bulb that’s visible at its center when lit, emitting an all-over glow with minimal glare. Bulb (included): 12W LED array, 450 lumens, 2700K for the Medium pendant; 26W LED array, 1047 lumens, 2468K for the Large pendant. UL Listed. Made in the Netherlands.

Bertjan Pot

Designing furniture, lighting and other home products, Bertjan Pot emphasizes materials, which he sees as a critical but often overlooked element of the design process. Most of his projects are based in experimentation – starting small, playing with a material or technique, following a curiosity about how something might work, or might look.
