Details

Created for Copenhagen’s Hotel Scandinavia, which opened in the mid-70s, the Opala Collection is sleek and futuristic in look and function. The Opala Midi Floor Lamp has an impact- and fade-resistant acrylic shade that not only tilts, but also is cleverly shaped to filter light. At the shade’s top, 30%-40% of the illumination seeps through the sides, creating a soft glow; at its bottom, beams are targeted and direct, providing ample light for reading or working. Bulb (not included): LED, CFL, or incandescent; E27 base; 75W max. Made in Denmark. Other Opala lights include the Pendant and Midi Table Lamp.
  • Provides both atmospheric and direct illumination.

  • Designed by Hans Wegner.
  • Sleek, elegant silhouette.
  • Opala received a 2021 Esquire Home Design Award, given to “the 40 coolest items for your home.”
