Designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller
An original favorite —
Made in the U.S.A. with a base crafted from turned wood and powder-coated steel, the Eames Coffee Table is an authentic 1949 design that is just as relevant today as when Charles and Ray Eames designed it for their California home.
Details
Authentic midcentury gem
In production for the first time since its conception, the Eames Coffee Table (1949) was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for use in their Pacific Palisades home. It has a dowel and wire base like that of their Shell Chair, made of turned wood and powder-coated steel. It also has a simple functional form, like their body of work – which represents some of the most influential expressions of 20th-century design. This is the authentic Eames Coffee Table by Herman Miller. Made in U.S.A.

Charles and Ray Eames
Design is for living. That maxim shaped a widespread shift in design during the 1940s and '50s. It was a revolution of form, an exciting visual language that signaled a new age and a fresh start – and two of its prime movers were Charles and Ray Eames. This husband-and-wife team's unique synergy led to a whole new look in furniture. Lean and modern. Sleek and simple. Beautifully functional.

Absolutely love this coffee table
This coffee table is a classic modern iconic design. I’ve been buying Herman Miller furniture for twenty years; and their outstanding quality means that even after several moves and daily use everything still looks great. This product is constructed much better than typical quality furniture. I have over twenty pieces of Herman Miller, and keep buying more because they offer value that last a lifetime. Herman Miller customer service is also outstanding. I wish that I could give more than five stars for this review!
