Family tradition of quality

Møller furniture is made by a company founded in 1944 by Niels Otto Møller, a dedicated craftsman who “never compromised on anything,” says his son. “He would find the materials and then design the furniture. Each design took him five years.” Still family-owned, the company uses old craft traditions, selecting wood from environmentally friendly sources and always polishing by hand. The Model 80A Stool (1963) is an authentic, fully licensed product of J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. Made in Denmark.

Niels Otto Møller

In 1944, Niels Otto Møller founded J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. “My father never compromised on anything,” says Niels’ son Jørgen Henrik Møller. “Each design took him five years to complete.” This work ethic is why the Møller collection is relatively small for a company that’s been around for more than 70 years, but that’s what makes Møller so special.
