Spurred by Marcel Breuer's design of a low table to accompany the Wassily Chair, the very simple, very clever multipurpose Laccio Table (1924) exhibits his rationalist aesthetic and accomplished technique. The construction is extremely stable, with materials of exceptional quality. The cool beauty of the seamless steel base and satin-finish lacquer top will not diminish with use or time. Each table has an individual number for identification and authenticity.
  • Sleek table that can stand solo or be nested together in multiples.
  • Laminate top in satin finish.
  • Seamless tubular steel frame in polished chrome or ultra-matte powder-coated finish.
  • KnollStudio logo and Marcel Breuer's signature stamped into the base.

Marcel Breuer

Marcel Breuer

Sparked by bicycle handlebars, Marcel Breuer’s tubular steel chairs were a daring departure from traditional wood furniture and major icons of the International Style in early 20th Century. “Mass production,” Breuer said, “made me interested in polished metal, in shiny and impeccable lines in space, as new components of our interiors.”
