A classic reborn
Forms that float
While working at Herman Miller in the 1970s, designer Ray Wilkes experimented with the (then) new technique of injecting foam into custom-made molds. The result was uniquely shaped, rounded cushions that form Wilkes Modular Seating.
45 Years young
Recently, design enthusiasts and vintage collectors have developed a fondness for Wilkes’ fondly dubbed “Chiclet” sofa. This renewed interest inspired Herman Miller to reissue the sofa in 2021.
