Geiger

Founded 1964 (Toronto, Canada)

Geiger was founded by cabinetmaker John Geiger in Canada in 1964 as a custom wood furniture company. Over the years, the company expanded into office furnishings and case goods, including an innovative modular system of companionable desks, tables, credenzas and storage units that could be taken apart and reconfigured as needed. In 2000 Geiger, now headquartered in the United States, was acquired by Herman Miller. The company continues to manufacture performance-focused furniture for lobbies, offices and reception areas.
