Description

“One of the most unforgettable things happened to me in a shop in Pamplona,” says designer Jesús Gasca. “A blind man walked in and said, ‘I’ve come to look at some chairs.’ For two hours, he touched them on top, underneath, everywhere, and in the end he said, ‘This is the one that I like best.’ It was the Gas Chair. Because a blind man could see that it had the best finish.” With fluid lines that are resolved at every curve and edge, the Gas Task Armchair (2012) cradles the body with no hard angles or sharp corners. The wheels automatically unlock when you sit in the swiveling, height-adjustable seat. Made in Spain.
