Description

With a mother who specialized in chair design and father whose career involved the manufacture of leather, Italian designer Giovanna Modonutti was naturally inclined to design the Allegro Collection (2002). Featuring a rigorously constructed steel frame wrapped in unblemished European leather, the Allegro Chair, Counter Stool and Barstool have lightly padded seats and supple backrests that conform to the body. The stools feature chromed steel crossbars that add to their unyielding stability and double as footrests. The strong, supple leather is hand stitched and treated for stain resistance. Clear plastic guides protect floors. Made in Italy.
