Componibili 12.5 in. Stacking
Componibili 12.5 in. Stacking
Flexible, functional and practical, the Componibili System (1969) has been in production for more than 30 years. Still relevant to how we live today, the innovative system has been widely recognized, including an exhibit at the George Pompidou Centre in Paris and as part of the permanent collection at MoMA in New York. A believer that "beauty can improve people's way of life and thinking," designer and architect Anna Castelli Ferrieri was known for maximizing the potential of new materials through the creation of innovative forms. The first female licensed architect in Italy, Castelli Farrieri began designing for Kartell after being chosen as the architect for its headquarters. (She later married Guilio Castelli, the founder of Kartell.) The components are made in durable plastic, and were recently introduced in silver finish. The 16.5" diameter modules stack easily, without needing screws or fasteners, and a top (sold separately) is needed to complete the unit. Manufactured in Italy by Kartell.
