Designed by Carlo Ballabio
Born in Cantù, Italy, in 1967, Carlo Ballabio first studied as a furniture technician before earning his degree in industrial design from the European Institute of Design in 1990. He spent the next two decades collaborating with several studios, then moved on to Porada, where he now serves as a product development manager and designer. Inspired by full-length mirrors used by tailors, his Timothy Mirror (2014) is substantial in size yet subtle in shape, with a carefully conceived and executed design that reflects fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. Timothy rotates for easy viewing, with a stunning canaletto walnut frame and back that fully covers the mirror’s rear, allowing it to be placed in open space – not just in a corner or against a wall. Comes fitted with brass hardware that rounds out its elegant finish. Made in Italy.
Glass mirror; solid canaletta walnut frame and mirror back; bronzed brass hardware.
