Elegantly reimagined for today, the Grasshopper Canvas Shade Table Lamp (1947) balances precise illumination with organic modernism. Pioneering Swedish architect Greta M. Grossman envisioned it as a blend of classic Scandinavian design and California ease, the upshot of her postwar move to Los Angeles in 1940. The lamp’s ball-socket mechanism allows the shade to be angled exactly where you need it, while its expertly curved tubular brass stand brings a timeless presence to a desk, side table, or nightstand. Bulb (not included): E12 socket, compatible with 4W–6W LED bulbs. Made in China.
  • Timeless lamp first designed in 1947 by Swedish architect Greta M. Grossman.
  • Ball-jointed shade rotates 360 degrees to focus light and minimize glare.
  • Classic Scandinavian design meets California ease in a lamp reimagined for today.
