Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Tambour Table (2012) exemplifies modern living through refined industrial design and functional versatility. Offered in a variety of shapes, heights, and colors, Tambour features die-cast aluminum legs – polished for indoor use (with optional casters for mobility) or powder-coated for the outdoors. With either a concrete or aluminum top, the table balances elegance and simplicity, adapting effortlessly to a range of interiors. The designers note, “Tambour is a collection of side tables that would fit into almost any setting, next to a faded sofa from the ‘50s, or in the sleek lounge of a modern night spot.” Made in Italy.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

The brothers Bourouellec opened their joint Paris-based design studio in 1999. Being brothers in addition to business partners allows them to bounce ideas off each other, trusting that difference of opinion will spur creativity. Their products range from furniture, lighting and rugs to porcelain dishware, ceramic tile and jewelry, even window blinds and a TV.
