Details
To create the beautiful Isla Rug (2023), all the techniques are performed by hand. First, the natural wool is hand-carded (where wool fibers are cleaned and prepared) and then handspun. Then it's loomed and knotted by hand, combining a flatweave border with shag pile center. The result is a plush textile that references tradition while maintaining a modern feel. The Isla Rug should be vacuumed periodically – do not use a rotating brush. Shedding is a natural, common occurrence and will decrease over time. Made in India.
