The Passerelle Desk (2022) by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY is inspired by the simple, uncluttered aesthetics of Shaker furniture. Designed to suit a modern lifestyle, this desk offers a variety of material and color options. Robust and functional, it features solid wood legs and an aluminum and steel crossbar. The desktop is made of Lisocore® – an advanced, high-quality material that’s strong yet lightweight and easy to move – with solid wood edges and a wood veneer surface. Ships flat-packed to save on packing materials. Made in Denmark.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
The brothers Bourouellec opened their joint Paris-based design studio in 1999. Being brothers in addition to business partners allows them to bounce ideas off each other, trusting that difference of opinion will spur creativity. Their products range from furniture, lighting and rugs to porcelain dishware, ceramic tile and jewelry, even window blinds and a TV.
