Throughout each stage of the Dor Moroccan Wool Rug's production process, techniques are performed by hand. First, the natural wool is hand-carded (the process by which wool fibers are cleaned and prepared) and then handspun. Finally, it's knotted by hand, combining a flat weave pattern with shag pile. It's finished with an organic nut soap wash for added softness. The result is an authentic textile that references tradition while maintaining a modern feel. This DWR Collection textile should be vacuumed periodically without a rotating brush. Shedding is a natural, common occurrence and will decrease over time. Rug pad recommended.
