A modern Nordic twist on the traditional Japanese paper lantern, the Hashira Portable Table Lamp (2021) brings a warm glow and soft tactility to spaces indoors and out. Shaped from welded steel and wrapped in semi-translucent, handmade linen, it reflects the mission of Copenhagen-based designers Norm Architects “to create minimalist designs that whisper rather than shout.” The portable lamp provides 10 hours of light when fully charged, with three dimmer settings to create a warm glow wherever it is placed. Light source: replaceable LED 2.5W. Made in China.
