Born in the Italian commune of Alfonsine in 1957, Guido Venturini studied architecture at the University of Florence, then went on to explore the fields of industrial design and interior design. He has taught at both the Florence Faculty of Architecture and the prestigious Domus Academy in Milan. In 1985, he and fellow designer Stefano Giovannoni founded the Bolidist Movement, noted for its smooth, streamlined forms. Drawing on this theme of flowing shapes – one that’s very close to its designer’s heart – All-Time Dinnerware (2012) features gentle profiles that are devoid of harshness. It’s designed so light reflects off it very softly, an effect heightened by the fine quality of the bone china from which it’s fashioned. Dishwasher safe. Made in China.
