An inventor and an idealist, Dutch designer Raimond Puts is fondly remembered as the man who brought the starry sky into our homes. He had a lifelong obsession with the pure beauty of mathematics, but it wasn’t until he was fooling around with a football one day that he became particularly interested in how round shapes can be formed by triangles. That fascination led to the Raimond Pendant (2007), a sphere of perfect triangles formed by intricate spheres and punctuated by tiny LED lights. The stainless steel structure safely transports the electrical current to the transparent bulbs, specially designed to spread warm white light in all directions. This is a dimmable light you can lose yourself in, much like a clear night sky covered in stars. Bulbs (included): 92 LEDs in the small Raimond, 162 in the medium and 252 in the large. For indoor use only. UL listed. Made in the Netherlands.
