A tranquil Swedish pier inspired the mood and design of the Pelagus Dining Table (2021). Its teak top with gently rounded edges and a powder-coated aluminum frame feel grounded in nature but equally at home in urban settings. Designed for outdoor use, it’s the work of Stockholm-based Note Design Studio – a multidisciplinary practice that creates pieces as diverse as their hometown’s archipelago. The table comfortably seats six to eight people, but can accommodate up to four more with the addition of one or two extension plates (sold separately), which store beneath the tabletop. Made from solid teak, the table will develop a soft-gray patina if left to age naturally outdoors. Made in Indonesia.
