Designed by Judy White, the DWR Diamond Quilt (2012) takes the same strong geometric shapes found in her Diamond Sheet Set and reconstructs them in a scaled-down, monochromatic version. The Diamond series evolved from a collage of cut-out paper, a tactile representation that allowed White to develop her design in a more three-dimensional fashion. “What I loved about the Diamond Quilt, once it was stitched and finished, was that it had the effect of a piece of origami that had been unfolded,” says the designer. White, who has designed tableware and giftware for Calvin Klein, was inspired by the Case Study Houses, representing building materials like stucco, glass and steel in the colors of her bedding for DWR. The result is a set of building blocks that make it easy and fun for you to create your modern bed. The cream, sienna and grey quilts are finished with a contrasting border of 100% cotton percale; the white quilt has a white border. Machine washable. Made in Italy.
100% cotton exterior; 100% Poly-fil® interior.
